At Lake Cumberland, we are pleased to announce the opportunity to serve the growing healthcare needs of the citizens of Pulaski County and surrounding areas with our new QuickCare facility. Beginning February 1, 2023, Lake Cumberland QuickCare will replace QuickCare at 20 Tower Circle and will provide our second walk-in clinic under Lake Cumberland Medical Associates. At Lake Cumberland QuickCare, we are here to provide treatment for everyday illnesses and injuries with no appointment required.

Walk in when you need us! Lake Cumberland QuickCare is an immediate care clinic providing shorter wait times, convenient hours, easy access, and state-of-the-art equipment in Somerset. Our clinic offers express treatment of non-life threatening medical emergencies such as minor illnesses and injuries, allergy relief, pediatric care, and more with an x-ray machine for your convenience. Our compassionate team of providers also provides health services like screenings, sports physicals, and more. We accept most major insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, and also offer self-pay options.

Our providers ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. As your local, dedicated team, we stand ready to help you feel better faster when you seek immediate care, treating patients ages three and older. We also will provide occupational medicine and standard medical screenings. From cold and flu remedies to Sports Physicals, we are prepared to offer you and your family the best healthcare experience possible at Lake Cumberland QuickCare.

Common Illnesses If you wake up sick, skip the emergency room and walk in for express treatment! We treat allergies and allergic reactions, colds and flu, bronchitis, ear infections, eye infections, migraines and other headaches, upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea, rashes, sexually transmitted diseases, sinus infections, skin conditions, sore throats, strep throats, urinary tract, and bladder infections. Common Injuries If you have suffered a minor, non-life-threatening injury, walk into Lake Cumberland QuickCare today to receive immediate care. We treat bites, burns, cuts and scrapes, eye and ear injuries, fractures and dislocations, insect and bee stings, sprains and strains, wart removal, and more. Diagnostics Our in-house diagnostics team offers a variety of immediate imaging and testing. From X-rays for broken bones to Bone Density Scans or soft tissue imaging, our radiology team gives our providers a clear picture of conditions affecting our patients. Most commonly, we conduct the following diagnostics; blood glucose, electrocardiogram (EKG), Mononucleosis tests (Mono), flu and strep tests, urinalysis, urine pregnancy tests, x-rays, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) tests. Telehealth We are proud to offer digital appointments now. Please call our offices at 606.425.4895 to set up your first virtual visit today. Visits are conducted with a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. Disclaimer: Not all insurance are paying for Telehealth visits. It is the patient’s responsibility to know whether their insurance covers this service. TRADITIONAL MEDICARE DOES NOT COVER TELEHEALTH. Self-Pay Service For uninsured patients or who wish to self-pay, we offer an affordable $79 upfront payment option for in-office visits. All labs and x-rays are an additional cost. Questions? When should a patient come to Lake Cumberland QuickCare? Walk into Lake Cumberland QuickCare when you need express treatment after a non-life-threatening emergency or are suffering from common illnesses, injuries, and conditions. We have multiple exam rooms, an on-site laboratory, and diagnostic imaging capabilities. What insurances does Lake Cumberland QuickCare accept? We accept most major insurances and also offer competitive self-pay rates and workers comp with the following exceptions: Passport Medicaid*, Aetna Better Health Medicaid. Who does Lake Cumberland QuickCare treat? We treat everyone—children, adults, and seniors! We offer immediate care for minor illnesses and injuries, allergies, the flu, and sports-related injuries like broken bones, strains, and sprains. Our providers also serve as primary care providers and can fulfill school and sports physicals, employment screenings, and more. We do not offer IV Fluids. Do you offer telehealth? Yes we do! Please call prior to arrival for this medical screening service. Does Lake Cumberland QuickCare offer School Physicals? Yes, we offer school physicals and sports physicals. What should I bring with me to my Lake Cumberland QuickCare visit? Please have your insurance card(s), a current list of medications, a photo ID, and copay/coinsurance ready before your visit.
