If you will be late arriving or you cannot keep your surgery appointment, please notify us at (606) 678-9688.
- For the convenience of patients' family and visitors, we have a lobby with television and Wi-Fi access. Since it is the desire of our facility to comfortably accommodate our patients and their families, we ask that you please limit those accompanying you on the day of the surgery.

- An anesthesiologist will examine you and ask you about your health in the pre-op holding area prior to the administering anesthesia medicines during the procedure.
- Anesthesia is a medication that keeps you from feeling pain during your surgery. The anesthesia provider will explain the anesthesia options best suited for you. There are three different types of anesthesia used during surgery:

- General Anesthesia makes you completely asleep
